I stumbled onto a motivational blog called Zen Habits the other day, and found the most recent entry so very true to heart. Being a wedding photographer I am blessed with seeing young couples in love commit to one another for the rest of their lives. So to all of my past, present and future Brides and Grooms I give you this piece of zen to make your lives a lighter brighter.

Talisa & Allyson's sweet 16 portrait session
Talisa & Allyson will be celebrating their sweet 16 on May 9th at Anthony's lake club in Danbury, CT. I invited them over to our home in Pomona to do a complimentary portrait session so that they could have some prints to show at their celebration. We had a blast with these two! They are tons of fun to shoot... see you guys next week!

Addi is 20 weeks old!
Dear Addi,
Yesterday we celebrated your first 20 weeks of life! We're so blessed to have such a sweet little girl like you in our lives. We took pictures of you as always... Daddy is a photographer and all. =)
In the past month you've learned:
Your name. It's amazing to see you look straight at us when we say your name.
How to roll over... kind of. Not to worry darling... you're getting there.
You can hold your head up effortlessly now.
You've discovered your mouth. It's so cute to watch you thumb around and feel your gums. =)
It's so crazy that you've come such a long way in so little time. I'll write another letter in a few days and show you how much you've really changed these past few months.
Here are the photo's.
Love always,
Daddy
Yeah! 5 months and growing...
You know Addi, for a girl who's 1/4 chinese... you've sure got some big eyes!

Our first portrait session
During our visit to Washington DC this past weekend we visited Kim and Trevor of Photos Unscripted for a family portrait session. We met Kim and Trevor over 2 years ago when we... no Audrey... volunteered us to model at a photography workshop. We had so much fun with them that we just couldn't do the shoot with anyone else but them.
Here's a some of Kim's amazing images of our family! If your ever in the DC area and need a photographer, You need to call her!

Catching up and pictures of our trip to Washington DC
Dearest Addison,
I haven't written a letter to you in a while. I sincerely apologize my dear, but I hope you can understand that much of my time now is devoted to taking care of you. You've grown up quite a bit since my last letter. Since december you've grown over 2 inches and gained almost 3 pounds. You've started to smile and laugh... although, your mommy says that I'm the only one that can do it, I really think it's just that I'm the only one goofy enough to get it out of you. It truly is amazing to watch you grow more and more everyday. And the best part of it all is getting to you become more aware of the world around you.
We were confident that you had grown enough to travel with us, so your mommy and I decided to bring you to Washington DC. Actually, Mommy had to go on business and I didn't think I could handle you on my own... but don't tell your mommy that ok?
Anyhow, going to Washington DC has sort of become a family tradition for us, so we figured we would go once again during the Cherry blossom festival. Unfortunately, it was rather chilly that day and had to bundle you up in your little bear outfit... You're probably gonna kill us one day when you realize that your picture in a bear suit has been all over the internet!
Anyhow, on with the pictures!
With love,
Daddy
Ahh yes the bear suit!
Your Koala bear impression... =)
My little girl-bear.
I knew you'd find it funny...
Family portrait... it was hard holding up my camera to get this shot!
