Lauren and Andrew: A West Point wedding

Every now and then you meet a couple that just makes you smile. Lauren and Andrew did that to Audrey and I this past Saturday at their wedding. These two met in high school and maintained a long distance relationship while Andrew was away at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Seeing the love between these two just made us smile ear to ear and reminded us how much we love each other.

I met Lauren just over a month ago inquiring about her wedding. When she had told me that Andrew was just returning from Iraq I was eager to have the opportunity once again to give back to our great heroes. Photographing a wedding is chump change when compared to the daily sacrifices our soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen (yeah you too coasties!) and their families make to defend the freedoms we enjoy in this country.
