7 months old

Dearest Addison,

You turned 7 months old this past week. My how you've grown in just this past month. Here's a quick rundown of all you've accomplished this past month.

-You've learned to sit up. Still a bit unstable, but sitting up nonetheless.

-Your eating solid food. Although, much isnt exactly solid. Your current fave's are sweet potatoes and winter squash.

-You've learned to hold you self up on all fours. Not quite crawling, but in time, I'm sure you'll be a little runaway train.

-You know that Mommy is the one who spoils you and Daddy is the one who always says no. I find it hilarious that you always mumble "Dadadadadadad.. Da da!" When there you are just hanging out, but as soon as daddy says "no don't touch that" The mumble switches to "Mamamamamamamam!"

Soon you'll be crawling and Daddy is going to have to completely child proof the apartment. Speaking of which we are now in search of a new home, so that you can have a nursery/playroom and Daddy can have a home studio.

Love always,
Daddy

Addison's first 6 months.

I've been lagging quite a bit as of late when it comes to posting on my blog... shame on me. =P

We celebrated Addison's baptism on June 1st with 100 of our closest family and friends. I didn't really get a chance to take any pictures as I was a major participant in the days celebrations. =) However, I did manage to put together a slideshow of Addi's first 6 months of life. Audrey and I presented it to our guests since most had never met her till that day. It was sort a catching up for those who had just met her for the first time. I compiled a few images that I had taken since the day she was born along.

The opening image was done by AutumnAutumn Photography. An awesome photographer based out southern Connecticut. The family portraits in the middle of the slideshow was done by our friend and another awesome fellow photographer, Kim of Photos Unscripted based out of the DC area. Be sure to stop by their blogs and give em some love eh?

Here is the small version, the full size version can be seen Here!

Nadia & Phil: The aftershoot.

Just one... for now. I didn't even get a chance to add a border. I'm tired... =)

More to follow. Promise.
