Happy Anniversary Honey!

Today Audrey and I are celebrating our 4th anniversary. We were married on May 29, 2005 in Danbury, CT. I'm so blessed to have a wife as amazing as she is. Here is a slideshow I have put together of photo's going all the way back to our first date in 2001 to our recent trip from Las Vegas. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY HONEY! I love you. =)

A most grateful thank you to our friends Frank Amodo and Ohana Photography for our anniversary session and family portraits!

Las Vegas

As an early present to ourselves for our anniversary (May 29), Audrey and I flew to Las Vegas this past weekend to party with some friends and just have some "us" time. We didn't do too much gambling but we did eat a lot. I even brought along some of my photo gear so we could do a mini photo session for ourselves.

Virgin America is awesome!

I get a little antsy after sitting for a few hours but luckily, our flight had wi-fi available. Not to mention, movies, games and TV.

As soon as we checked into our hotel we quickly got cleaned up and went to Roberto's taco shop to relieve our desperate cravings for carne asada anything! Audrey ordered the Carne Asada chips...

I had the burrito.... I tell you what, who ever said that NYC is the food capital of the world has never travelled to the western US and Hawaii. No where else in my travels have I ever found better mexican food out of mexico other than the American southwest... this is the truth!

The same night of our arrival we met with some friends who were also in town to go watch the Cirque de Soleil show, KA. Talk about visually stunning. It.was.amazing.

The following morning, Audrey and I got up early to go do a quick photoshoot of ourselves. It's tough being the subject and photographer at the same time.

I must admit, Audrey and I are big time foodies. If there is a place to eat that we have never tried before, or is unavailable in NY, you can bet your booty, that we will be there. We had lunch with our friends at Goldilocks bakery and cafe... I love filipino food.

Kare-Kare... Oxtail and tripe in a peanut butter based stew. OMG!

That night we had dinner at Wazuzu located inside the Wynn Encore Resort. I must say the food was delish!
Seared Ahi anyone?

ha...ha...hamachi!

Sushi platter...

Tempura roll for the non adventerous sushi eaters.

Trout... I didn't get to try this bur Audrey said it was yummo.

This is Riela and her boyfriend Emil. Riela is like little sister to us. We love her to death! =)

Oh yes it's ladies night... oh what a night!

On our last morning before we flew out Audrey and I went for a short walk across the street from our hotel to the Bellagio to check it out.

After our little walk we packed our bags and said goodbye to our hotel room and headed out for breakfast at Jollibee, a fast food restaurant with a filipino twist.

Audrey had the fried chicken and spaghetti plate... wait what? Yeah, fried chicken and spaghetti. Don't knock it till you try it. one bite and you'll never buy fried chicken anywhere else... EVER!

I went for the hamburger steak with eggs and garlic fried rice.

Miscellaneous Monday

Another Monday... Another blogpost! =)

-What an awesome weekend! I shot and Noel and Ben's engagement session on Saturday. You can see the images here.

-That same day, we all got together to celebrate our friend Shiela's birthday celebration. We all called on our inner child and played video games at Krazy City, and Dave & Busters. We then had played a round of laser tag. I haven't played laser tag since college... what a blast!

-I got to meet a really cool couple yesterday at Panera Bread. I have to say... Panera Bread is AWESOME! Free Wi-Fi, good food, did I mention the free Wi-Fi!

-2 Days till Mom arrives from Hawaii... I can't wait to see her. Not to mention all the yummy food she's bringing with her. You can take the boy from the island but you can't take the island from the boy. Portuguese sausage...check! Lau-lau... Check! Pickled mango... check! Hurricane popcorn... Check!

-3 Days till vegas... I'm so excited! Audrey and I haven't been to vegas since we celebrated New Years Eve back in 2001. I'm even more excited at the fact that we'll be flying Virgin America. If our flight has Wi-Fi available, you can bet that I'll be blogging from 30,000 ft.

-I'd like to send a special shoutout to David and Kim Baxter of Ohana Photography. These two are an inspiration to photographers and married couples. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY YOU GUYS! We Love you! We hope to see you guys again soon... hopefully in Hawaii. =)

Today's quote is dedicated to my two friends David and Kim as they celebrate their anniversary...

Noel & Ben: An Engagement Session

On Saturday morning, I met up with Noel and Ben at the Skylands Manor and Botanical Garden in Ringwood, NJ. As I was leaving my apartment, I noticed that it was quite foggy out. I didn't think much of it, matter of fact, I was kind of excited about doing some really dramatic shots in the fog with some off camera lighting. When I arrived at the manor and started pulling out my gear, I noticed a rain drop appear on the window of my cars rear hatch, then another, and another... within minutes, torrential downpour.... oh boy! Noel and Ben were sitting in their car wondering what the heck we were going to do! And just as quickly as it started, it stopped raining. But now, the ground was wet, muddy, and overall just downright icky feeling... but not to worry! Noel and Ben are the two toughest troopers around and we weren't about to let a few puddles and mud get in our way. I had an absolute blast with these two. Here's a few of my favorites from that day.

Noel and Ben,

Thanks for being so great about running around in the wet grass and mud! I can't wait to shoot your wedding in July. =)

Mothers Day 2009

Today, I took the day off to spend time with the 2 most important women in my life. My beautiful wife and my precious little girl. It was a quiet mothers day for us... we went to church in the morning (something I need to do more often). After that we headed to the Skylands Botanical Garden for a mini photoshoot and to just enjoy our time with one another. After about an hour of walking around the park we went to have a late lunch at Greek City Restaurant in Ramsey, NJ. This place is fantastic! We were so stuffed that we didn't even bother with dinner tonight.

To my wonderful wife, Audrey... Happy Mothers Day sweetheart!

Our Family... tripods and timers are really handy but I really need to go buy a remote for my camera. =)

Wife, Mother, Best Friend.... The love of my life. =)

Here is Addi practicing to become my newest associate photographer.

Another family shot.

Beautiful day
